Nah, just kidding... I love the Inklings as characters in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe! 
But it's a bit weird that they can't go underwater in Splatoon but they can drive underwater in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and also they're weak to ink of different color in Splatoon, but they don't explode when the Blooper sprays ink on them in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe XD
